Our Mat Chopper is a “one-man” design that incorporates a built-in hoist for ease of loading a full roll.
A built-in jib crane will handle a full length and full diameter roll of material and sliding the heavy roll onto the machine is a one-man operation.
The machine also features multiple mandrel sizes and multiple expanding cores to accommodate the multitude of cores available in the fiberglass industry.
Endless glass fibers (rovings) are fed into the roving cutter and are cut to a specific length. The standard length could be approximately 6, 12, 24 or 48 cm and customerized automatic by adjustable.
